Hair Colouring– Choosing hair colour based on your percentage of grey
Is your hair starting to show your age? Would you like to do something about it? Nothing could be easier with Echosline professional hair colouring products, exclusive to Uniprix!
To cover your grey and restore your hair’s original colour, ask your beauty consultant to help you:
- Identify the level of your natural hair colour in the Echosline colour chart
- Estimate your % of grey hair
Then you’ll need:
- A tube of colouring cream that matches your natural hair colour level,
- A tube of colouring cream in the tone of your choice (facultative),
- A bottle of 20 volume cream peroxide
You need to know the percentage of grey to correctly mix the colouring cream and the peroxide, especially if the colour you want has tones.
In a non-metal bowl, mix one part colouring cream with an equal part of peroxide. For example, if you have long hair with 25% grey, combine:
- 25 ml (1/4 tube) of colouring cream that matches your natural hair colour level,
- 75 ml (3/4 tube) of colouring cream in the tone you want
- 100 ml of 20 volume peroxide
If you do not want tones, as is the case in the video , mix the following in a non-metal bowl:
- 100 ml (1 tube) of colouring cream that matches your natural hair colour level,
- 100 ml of 20 volume peroxide
