Medication
- Prescription medication
Pack all medications in your carry-on baggage in their original, labelled containers. Visit a travel health clinic for your vaccinations if you are going to a destination where certain vaccines are recommended or required. If you wish to bring certain medications with you, such as drugs that protect against malaria, diarrhea or altitude sickness, speak to your health care provider.
In preparation for your trip
- Buy a cell phone plan for travel abroad
- Obtain your travel visa (if required)
- Purchase travel insurance
- Obtain an international driver's license (if required)
- Make a copy of your passport
