Research at the Institute

Founded 75 years ago, the Montreal Cancer Institute, affiliated to CRCHUM, supports excellence in research in order to find new treatments against cancer and, ultimately, beat the disease.

The researchers who are members of the Institute focus on cancers of epithelial origin, which include most solid tumors, such as ovarian cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer.
